Indian Institute of Management AhmedabadThe Indian Institute of Management in Ahmedabad is one of the reputed and well known  public business school in Ahmedabad.  The institute is also known as IIMA or IIM Ahmedabad, and it was founded as an autonomous body in the year of  1961. It was second Indian Institute of management ( IIM ) to be established in the country. The Institute was established in collaboration with Harvard Business School. The IIM is spread over lush greenery cover more 100 acres and was designed by the American architect Louis Kahn.  IIM Ahmedabad is ranked as one of the best management institute in India.  The institute provides a number of Executive Training Programs, a Fellowship programme and Post Graduate Diploma Programme in management. IIM Ahmedabad also has a wide network of partner B-schools through which it conducts student exchange programs.

Full-time Academic Progarammes:

  • Post Graduate Program in Management: (PGP) is a two year, full-time residential programme.
  • Post-Graduate Programme in Agribusiness Management: (PGP-ABM) is a two-year fully residential management programme.
  • Post-Graduate Programme in Management for Executives: (PGPX) is a one-year full-time residential programme for executives who have substantial work experience in the corporate domain.
  • Fellow Programme in Management: (FPM) is the doctoral programme. Students generally spend close to five years in the programme
  • Post-Graduate Programme in Public Management and Policy: (PGP-PMP) is a full-time residential programme
  • Faculty Development Programme: (FDP) is a four-month, residential programme
  • Armed-forces Programme: (AFP) is a six months,  full-time programme designed specifically for officers of the armed forces
